Zackary Read

Zackary Read is a lighting designer and touring technician, currently touring as an Assistant Electrician at Disney on Ice Jump In.

As a technician, he has worked in tour learning lights, video, pyro and automation show tracks. Locally he has worked in venues such as Texas Performing Arts, The Long Center and the B. Iden Payne.

As a designer, he has previously worked with The Alchemy Theatre and the University of Texas on productions such as Fall For Dance 23, The Baker’s Wife and The Smartest Girl in the World.

Passionate about his work, Zackary is eager to learn, level headed and more than willing to fail. When he’s not working you can find him, roller skating, searching for cheap stage equipment he’ll never use or being type cast as dead bodies.
